From Sunday 21 June, a number of bus service changes will be introduced across the Hills District to provide improved services and better connections.
Key timetable and route updates for North Shore and Northern Beaches services are outlined below:
- 194, 194X, 195, 260, 270, 271, 273, 274, 277, 562, 577, 587, 599 – These services have timetable changes – Some have more services and expanded operating hours.
- 196 & 197 – Route 196 has been withdrawn from service and will be replaced with additional services on Route 197.
- 283 – Early morning services have been adjusted to commence at Glen St opp. Glenrose Village Shopping Centre, instead of Glen St opp Wakehurst Public School
- 579 – Route 579 will now travel via Selwyn St and Bannockburn Rd on return to Pymble Station.
- 592 – Timetable changes will improve connections with Trains at Berowra and Hawksbury River and Ferries at Brooklyn. On weekdays, some trips will extend to and from Berowra Station.
- 594 – Route 594 has been withdrawn from service. Additional services will operate on routes 194, 194X and 577 to provide alternative travel options.
School Service Updates
Changes have also been made to school services for the following schools:
- Brigidine College (Routes 267 and 272)
- Davidson High School (Routes 112)
- Kamaroi Rudolf Steiner School (Routes 142)
- Killara High School (Route 8082 and 9077)
- Kuring-Gai High School (Route 9045)
- Loreto Normanhurst (Route 9014 and 9098)
- Normanhurst Public School (Route 587 – This service will no longer drivert to the school in the afternoon)
- Normanhurst West Public School (Route 8016 and 8022)
- Pennant Hills High School (Route 8022 and 9016)
- Pittwater High School (Route 292)
- St Ives North Public school (Route 216)
- St Ives High School (Route 9078 and 9126)
- Turramurra High School (Route 8070 and 8104)
