With the commencement of Newcastle Light Rail services, from Monday 18 February 2019 routes 138, 140 and 266 will no longer operate to and from Queens Wharf.
They will instead terminate in Hunter St after Bellevue St (230226). Connecting routes 11 and 13 depart regularly from this stop heading toward Newcastle East. For those wishing to connect to the Light Rail service, it is recommended you alight in Hunter St after Stewart Ave (230232).
Routes 138, 140 and 266 will depart from Newcastle in Hunter St after National Park St (230229). Those transferring from the Light Rail can also connect with these services in Hunter St opposite Cooper St (230230).
