Blanch’s Bus Company and Brunswick Valley Coaches Brands To Become CDC NSW

Blanch’s Bus Company and Brunswick Valley Coaches (BVC), two Far North Coast bus operators, owned and operated by ComfortDelGro Corporation Australia (CDC) will be rebranded to CDC NSW from today (Monday 29 January 2024).

The transition to new branding marks a significant milestone in parent company CDC’s growth and evolution, following other recent rebrands across the country including CDC Canberra and CDC Northern Territory.

B & E Blanch first established the company’s operations in the Far North Coast of New South Wales in 1976 and expanded its operation with the acquisition of Brunswick Valley Coaches in 2009. CDC, one of Australia’s leading transport providers, took ownership of B & E Blanch in 2019.

Part of the international ComfortDelGro Group, CDC employs more than 4,800 people and operates over 4000 vehicles in six states and territories in Australia. CDC is also one of Australia’s largest bus operators, operating significant urban, school bus and charter services.

A fleet of around 50 buses and 100 staff will continue to serve the Byron Bay, Ballina, Lennox Head, Mullumbimby, Brunswick Heads and Ocean shores communities via urban, school and charter transportation.  New CDC NSW livery will be roll-out across vehicles featuring the renowned bright orange and blue logos of the CDC transport brands.

Tony Hopkins, CEO CDC Regional Australia Division said the brand alignment CDC NSW marked a pivotal moment for the business.

“We are excited to take this next step, aligning ourselves with the rest of the CDC family. We will continue our commitment to delivering exceptional transport services to the Far North Coast community while embracing a new chapter of expansion,” Mr Hopkins said.

CDC will commence operating under the new CDC NSW branding ahead of the school year, Tuesday 30 January 2024.

The former Blanch’s Bus Company website will be redirected to the new cdcbus.com.au website, which has been updated to include all information regarding CDC’s Far North Coast operations.
