*Orana Bridge is now re-open. All CDC NSW bus services have now returned to normal.*
With effect from Monday 17 June 2024, Byron Shire Council will commence work on Orana Bridge (over Marshall Creek) on Orana Road. The work is expected to take seven days to complete.
During the bridge work, there is a change to the 645 Route service and the following school shifts, 72, 76, 79, 85, 88, 90. This is because there is not a safe place to turn the buses around, and we will not be able to service Orana Road from Redgate Road and Narooma Drive as normal.

We will have a small bus operating on Orana Road during the school peak times to assist with transferring students to their school buses. There will be some delays to the operating schedule for these bus movements.
We apologise for any inconvenience this has caused during the bridge work on Orana Road.
Should there be any further changes to the dates for the closure, we will advise accordingly.
