From 20 August, CDC NSW Region 4 Pty Ltd is implementing minor timetable adjustments to improve the overall reliability of services and is pleased to announce a timetable refresh. This is due to road congestion in and around region 4 impacting travel times. This timetable refresh is not about cancelling nor reducing any services or routes. The adjustments will involve minor time changes, with some services scheduled to start up to 5 minutes earlier or later than their current times and will provide better service transfer connections for passengers. These changes will be in effect seven days a week during both peak and off-peak times.
The following routes will be affected:
- Local routes: 535, 600, 601, 604, 605, 608, 617, 632, 633, 641, 643, 651, 700, 714, 715
- M2 Routes: 602X, 607X, 610X, 611, 612X, 613X, 614X, 615X, 616X, 619, 620X, 622, 642X, 652X
To improve connections for school services, and after taking customer feedback into consideration, minor time adjustments of around 1 to 5 minutes will be made to 32 out of our 500 plus school services. There will be no service cancellations, and any affected schools/students will be informed ahead of the changes.
We appreciate the community’s patience and understanding as these changes are implemented. Customer service officers will be stationed at key interchanges to provide information before, during, and after this process.
Transport for NSW will continue to monitor the network as part of the contract and identify areas where improvements can be made in response to changes in customer demand. Improvements will be informed by Opal data, feedback from the community and stakeholders, with the final decision on any future changes resting with the NSW government.
